คณะกรรมาธิการกฎหมายระหว่างประเทศ (International Law Commission - ILC) ประกาศรับสมัครงานในตำแหน่ง International Law Commission Research Assistant Roster ซึ่งเป็นโอกาสสำคัญสำหรับผู้ที่มีความเชี่ยวชาญในด้านกฎหมายระหว่างประเทศ

เกี่ยวกับหน่วยงาน :
          คณะกรรมาธิการกฎหมายระหว่างประเทศ (International Law Commission – ILC) เป็นองค์กรย่อย ของสมัชชาใหญ่แห่งสหประชาชาติ ซึ่งถูกจัดตั้งขึ้นตั้งแต่ปี ค.ศ. ๑๙๔๗ เพื่อทำหน้าที่เป็นกลไกขับเคลื่อนภารกิจด้านการประมวลและพัฒนาการก้าวหน้าของกฎหมายระหว่างประเทศ โดยมีบทบาทที่สำคัญในการผลักดันให้เกิดการอภิปรายและเจรจาจัดทำอนุสัญญาระหว่างประเทศในประเด็นกฎหมายระหว่างประเทศที่สำคัญ ๆ อาทิ กฎหมายสนธิสัญญา ความคุ้มกันทางทูตและทางกงสุล ความรับผิดของรัฐ โดย ILC จะเสนอรายงานประจำปี ร่างข้อบท และข้อแนะนำ (draft articles/principles/guidelines) ในประเด็นกฎหมายระหว่างประเทศต่าง ๆ ต่อสมัชชาใหญ่แห่งสหประชาชาติ

ขอบเขตของงาน         

- ดำเนินโครงการวิจัยเกี่ยวกับกฎหมายระหว่างประเทศตามที่ได้รับมอบหมาย

- ให้คำปรึกษาแก่ผู้รายงานพิเศษหรือสมาชิกคณะกรรมาธิการในประเด็นต่าง ๆ

คุณสมบัติเบื้องต้น
          - สำเร็จการศึกษาในระดับปริญญาเอกด้านกฎหมายระหว่างประเทศแผนกคดีเมือง หรือ
          - สำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาโทหรือเทียบเท่า ในด้านกฎหมายระหว่างประเทศแผนกคดีเมือง และ

มีประสบการณ์การทำงานด้านกฎหมายระหว่างประเทศแผนกคดีเมืองอย่างน้อย 2 ปี
          - ทักษะภาษา: เชี่ยวชาญด้านการพูดและเขียนภาษาอังกฤษ หรือ ฝรั่งเศส หรือ สเปน

สถานที่ปฏิบัติงาน : Home-based

International Law Commission Research Assistants

The International Law Commission (ILC) is now calling for applications for the position of International Law Commission Research Assistants.

About the Organization:

The International Law Commission (ILC), a subsidiary organ of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), was established in 1947 with the mandate to promote the progressive development of international law and its codification. The ILC plays a vital role in fostering dialogue and facilitating negotiations on the drafting of international treaties across a broad range of subjects, including the law of treaties, diplomatic and consular immunities, and the responsibility of states. The Commission also submits annual reports, draft articles, and recommendations on specific international legal matters to the General Assembly for its consideration.

Job Description:

          - Conducting specific research projects on international law as assigned.

          - Providing consultation to the Special Rapporteurs or Chairs in question.

Qualifications:

           - A PhD in Public International Law or a Master's degree (or equivalent) in Public International Law, with at least 2 years of professional experience in public international law

          - Proficiency in written and spoken English, French, or Spanish

Location: Home-based

Application Deadlines: There are three rounds each year:

          Round 1: April 15, 2025

          Round 2: June 15, 2025

          Round 3: August 15, 2025
